The Automated External Defibrillator (AED) class is a three and a half hour American Safety and Health Institute curriculum.

It contains information on the rationale and importance of early defibrillation, AED sequence of survival, training recommendations, recognition of unresponsive victims and victims in cardiac arrest, review of equipment operation, discussion of treatment possibilities, information regarding the Medical Director’s role, written and practical skill evaluations, and information on the AED use report.

The cost of this class is $30.00 per student.
